Cosmetic Care

Teeth Whitening

If you are looking to either just rejuvenate your smile or are considering something more extensive, teeth whitening is a great place to start. How do you think celebrities get their dazzling white smiles? Research has shown that the colour of a smile is the most noticeable cosmetic feature.

We comply with the latest EU guidelines of September 2012. We recommend Zoom teeth whitening for in-surgery whitening, which is best accompanied by a short take home course using trays.

Smile Makeover

There is a range of cosmetic treatments available to improve a smile. A full smile makeover has the most dramatic aesthetic improvement. It is complex and takes a lot of planning and patient input. The technique uses such treatments as veneers, crowns, dental implants, bridges, enameloplasty and gum recontouring.

A porcelain VENEER is a thin layer of ceramic that fits over a minimally prepared tooth. Similar to how a false finger nail fits over a nail.

A CROWN unlike a veneer fits over the whole tooth and involves more preparation. The latest crowns are just porcelain and are very durable. They are also used to treat broken, heavily filled or decayed teeth.

Amalgam Free

Waterer Dental Care has not used mercury containing dental amalgam for over 13 years. This creates a healthier, better looking mouth but also a cleaner dental practice environment!

Facial Aesthetics

Line and wrinkles around the eyes and forehead are often referred to as dynamic lines of the face. They are caused by repeated muscle contraction, and increase in prominence from about 40 years onwards. It is a simple and fast to use some muscle relaxing injections to rejuvenate the skin and smooth out these lines. It is perfectly safe and a course of treatment lasts 3-4 months. After this time the skin will relax but it will never be worse than the condition at the beginning.
