Practice Hours

Adult patients can register either privately under a capitation scheme or pay as they go.

We ask that parents registered under ‘pay as they go’ come regularly every 6 months for examinations. Our receptionist is here to help you register, and to answer any queries you may have.

     FIRST VISIT

I
t is important at this visit that you are prepared to discuss with the dentist any problems you are experiencing, or any part of your dental health which you are not comfortable with, e
.g: cosmetic improvement. Please complete the new patient menu.

New patients receive a special welcome pack.

Also at this visit it is important for us to be aware of your complete medical history. It would be helpful if you could bring a completed medical history form and a list of any medication you are taking.

CHOOSING THE BEST WAY TO PAY

Payments may be paid by installments, initially a deposit will be asked for, but all accounts must be settled on completion of treatment. If you have opted for DENPLAN, which is a continuing care capitation plan, it means you are able to spread the cost with affordable monthly payments once dentally fit. Conversely, an adult may choose to make payments as their treatment proceeds.

Remember if under the age of 18 (or 19 and in full time education) you qualify for free N.H.S dental treatment, provided parents are registered with the practice.

Please let us know if you are concerned about the cost of your treatment.

We accept payment by most major credit and debit cards and will shortly be offering interest free loans for patients to pay for their dental treatment.

CANCELLATIONS
Please ensure that at least 24 hours notice is given to cancel an appointment in order that your appointment can be offered to another patient. If a patient fails to keep an appointment, a charge may be enforced.

Data Protection - Patient Confidentiality
We maintain patients' records on our computers in full compliance with current Data Protection legislation and do not share details with any other organisation without the prior, explicit permission of the patient.
