Dental implants

Our smiles reflect our feelings, and the loss of some or all of our teeth can sometimes restrict us, not just being able to smile unselfconsciously, but in many ways.

Having healthy teeth means we may enjoy eating, laugh freely, speak clearly and makes us feel more positive about ourselves. Unfortunately, healthy teeth cannot be taken for granted and over time, our teeth may be lost due to lifestyle choices, such as sports injuries, or tooth and gum diseases like periodontitis.

Dental implants offer a solution to tooth loss and are suitable for patients of nearly all ages, just as soon as jaw growth is complete. For a brochure, or more information, please contact us.

Waterer Dental Care has now been providing dental implants for its own patients for 2 years. We have placed more than 130 implants in over 75 of our patients.

We are now in a position to accept referrals from other local practices, or from individual patients whose own practice does not provide this service. Conversely, a new implant patient may not be registered with a local practice but we would be happy to treat them

Hygienist.

O
ur Hygienist performs an essential role in the practice, in the provision of patient care. Her role is focused around prevention of dental problems. This includes performing scale and polishes, gum treatments, fissure sealants, fluoride treatment and diet advice etc.

She is trained to a high standard to give advice and assistance to our patients. With the gums being the foundations of your teeth, this part of our service is vital.
